Dev Fest 2025 and Beyond

5am sharp I was awake to pee but then when I opened the window, wow, the sun was slowly rising. I kept the curtain open and enjoyed the golden sky until I fell asleep again 😅 At 7am I woke up again, took my time at the john and showered, and finally get ready for breakfast at the restaurant with hubby at 08:30.

When we arrived at the restaurant it was so full! The breakfast options was quite plenty but not too much. The taste was so so, nothing extraordinary. Well maybe except bubur sumsum. But the most annoying part was that the food stalls was put outside, in the smoking area. I hate to line up with smoke everywhere.

After breakfast we went back to the room so that hubby had enough time to unload the food hehe. Then at 09:45 we left the hotel off to Selah hall. There's hiccup when we were about to pass the gate because our plat number was unidentifiable by the system, thus we were 12 minute late when we arrived the venue.

Thankfully the PIC of the event was quick to escort us to the venue. Hubby joined the CTO discussion, while I joined the main hall, sitting as if I understand everything but actually lost in translation, LOL. This Dev Fest by Google Developer Group was the same like last year where hubby was also the speaker.

Just before lunch time, hubby got me to the VIP room to join lunch there with other speakers. After that we went out for coffee right in front of the main hall. There's this Pink Scooter Koffie and we tried the Butter Route Latte. The seller was a university student that sells coffee at events like this.

Coffee break was followed by conversation at the hall and continued at the VIP room, with some of the speakers like M Ghifary from INA Digital Edu, and of course Ibnu Sina Wardy who always invited us to the event. I was also greeted by Danang Jufry, an old acquaintance from Startuplokal era who is now Google Community Manager. Long time no see!

At 14:30 we entered the room and 15 minutes later hubby delivered his topic, Intro to n8n: Creating expense tracker in 30 minutes. The room was conveniently full with each participants brings their laptop so that they can practice the topic that hubby delivered. The session ended sharp an hour later at 15:45.

After the event I was surprised the old man and his.. I don't know whether his son or grandson, around 6 years old, still there in front of the mall selling keychains. I bought some in the morning, and when I saw them still there at around 4pm I bought some more.

Back to the hotel, enough time to wind down and quick nap. At 7pm off we went again, this time to Ponyo Restaurant to join dinner with Dev Fest speakers and committee. One of the speakers has intended to talk to me to consult about marriage and relationship. Hubby joined the convo and it became an hour summary of my book The Real Marriage Life, LOL.

Before 9pm we parted ways and went back to hotel. Did we call it a day? Nope, not yet. We strolled around the area, checking some restaurants and cafes right across the hotel. We were about to snack Soerabi Enhaii Bandung, just to find out that THE soerabi was out of order, huhu. We ended up snacking Bakso Malang Enggal and ice tea, not bad.

10pm and we were back at the hotel room, safe and sound, tired but full. Yet I still have some energy to post some contents at social media about this motherless AND fatherless nation and startup ideas. Hopeless yet hopeful at the same time. Hopeless with the govt, but hopeful with the unity of the nation. Oh God please help and bless this country.

Catatan penting: untuk mencapai pemahaman penuh, mohon klik dan baca setiap tautan. Awalnya adalah pertanyaan . Membuahkan suatu jawaban . Diposting di akun pribadi, seperti yang biasa saya lakukan sejak hampir 15 tahun lalu , bahkan sebelum Mark Zuckerberg membuat Facebook. Jawaban yang juga autopost ke facebook itu menjadi viral, ketika direshare oleh lebih dari 20ribu orang, dengan emoticon lebih dari 38ribu, dan mengundang 700++ komentar. Kemudian menjalar liar, ketika portal-portal media online mengcopas ditambah clickbaits. Tidak ada media yang mewawancara saya terlebih dahulu ke saya kecuali satu media yang menghasilkan tulisan berkelas dengan data komprehensif ini . Well, ada juga yang sempat email ke saya untuk meminta wawancara, tapi belum sempat saya jawab, sudah menurunkan berita duluan selang sejam setelah saya posting foto di bustrans Jakarta . Perawatan wajah dan cerita masa muda

Andaikata blog dan social media saya punya semacam FAQ (Frequently Asked Question, alias pertanyaan yang paling sering ditanyakan), sudah pasti di urutan pertama akan bertengger pertanyaan: "Pakai produk perawatan wajah apa?" Banyaaaakkk banget follower instagram / facebook / twitter saya yang nanya gitu, dan minta saya mengulasnya. Saya bilang sabar, tunggu tanggal mainnya. Meeting Myself

Today was one of those Saturdays that felt full in the best way. I joined the Alphasmart Training Session as a Player, hosted by BWI , from 9 AM to 2 PM. Ten trainers and coaches were specially invited as VIP participants, and lucky me, I was one of them. Some of the participants were blogger friends I’ve known since the early days of blogging more than a decade ago, while others I met for the very first time. Every single one radiated positive vibes and genuinely good energy. The mission of the day was simple but huge: to meet the most important person in our lives: ourselves. Sounds a bit dramatic, right? But oh, it worked. For two and a half hours, we laughed, we cried, and sometimes we did both at the same time. Industri Fashion dan Harga Jujur

Saat tulisan viral “Istri Direktur” sedang hangat2nya, di antara ratusan pesan yang masuk, saya menerima sebuah pesan pribadi dari follower Instagram . Tulisan panjang dalam Bahasa Inggris itu intinya mengatakan, bahwa dia juga seorang yang hemat namun tidak akan mau beli baju seharga 50ribu karena itu berarti tidak menghargai pekerja garmen lokal.
