Saya Nuniek Tirta, bukan ((hanya)) seorang Istri Direktur

Selebihnya... Tidak ada yang konfirmasi terlebih d...

Exclusive Blogger Dinner with Bio Oil

Tau nggak aktivitas paling ngangenin dari suami hampir tiap malam? Selain diusap2 kepala kalau mau tidur, juga... diolesin bedak pengurang gatal di sekujur punggung, hehehe. Udah sekitar 2 tahun terakhir ini kalau malam punggung aku tuh sering gatelll banget sampai kayak panas gitu dan datangnya tiba-tiba aja. Padahal dulu nggak pernah gitu lho.

Family Holiday at Club Med Bintan - Premium All Inclusive Resort

I just had family holiday at Club Med Bintan, on 14-17 December 2017. To be frankly honest, it was way more fun than I expected as a short weekday getaway. Definitely one of the best vacation that we ever had! Photo of us in Club Med Bintan by Sweet Escape Transportation from Jakarta to Bintan Island We flew on Thursday morning, 14 December by Garuda Indonesia from Terminal 3 Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to Tanjung Pinang Raja Haji Fisabillah International Airport. It was scheduled to be boarding at 10:30 but unfortunately got delayed for about an hour, so we arrived at around 1pm.  Transportation from Bintan airport to Bintan resort  At Bintan airport, a driver was already waiting with a sign board "Club Med". We then continued the journey by car, an hour long road without traffic jam at all. Not much to see along the way, most of it was some kind of deserted areas. But when we entered Lagoi area, it is green everywhere I see.  Arrival at ...

From Past to Peace

Letting go isn’t about forgetting; it’s about losing interest in what no longer matters, and finding peace in the quiet joy of the present moment.

Saya bilang sabar, tunggu tanggal mainnya. Tapi sebelum saya jawab pertanyaan itu, saya mau mengenang masa muda dulu ah..  Jadi begini cucuku... Waktu pertama kali ngeblog 15 tahun lalu , usia saya masih 21 (yak silakan dihitung usia saya sekarang berapa, pinterrrr). Jadi jangan heran kalo gaya bahasanya masih 4I_aY 4b3zzz.. (eh ga separah itu juga sih, hehe). Tapi ekspresi nulisku di masa-masa itu masih pure banget, nyaris tanpa filter. Jadi kalo dibaca lagi sampai sekarang pun masih berasa seru sendiri. Kayak lagi nonton film dokumenter pribadi. Kadang bikin ketawa ketiwi sendiri, kadang bikin mikir, kadang bi...

This is Why I Love Mondays

I love Monday! Seriously, I’m not lying.  My Monday morning was super slow and relaxing. I actually got to take my time with my morning rituals: praying, reading my Bible, and doing some handwritten journaling. After that, I hit the gym and treated myself to the sauna, jacuzzi, and a cold shower. So refreshing! Afterward, my husband, my youngest daughter, and I grabbed lunch together before she headed off to campus. We just ate at the warteg near our apartment. It’s always delicious, super cheap, and you get free sweet iced tea! What more could you ask for? When I got back to the apartment, it was time to face reality: unboxing over a dozen packages that had been piling up. Ugh, honestly, unboxing is my least favorite chore. Usually, my eldest daughter is the one who excitedly opens them, but since she’s currently staying at her grandparents' house, I had to do it myself. Later in the afternoon, the Cleansheet ranger came over to deep clean the entire apartment. Every single corne...

46: Learning to Love the Detour

Turning 46 came with an unexpected lesson in trusting the plot twists of life.  September 6th was originally supposed to look entirely different: a long-haul flight to the UK for a long-awaited AndrĂ© Rieu concert we had bought tickets for a year ago, before our daughter entering her dorm and university life there. Instead, life handed us a series of surprises that turned our schedule upside down, in the best possible way. First, my daughter missed an important email for eight days, leaving her student visa stuck in processing. To avoid a no-show status, we decided last Friday to reschedule her flight. Thankfully, since the ticket was booked using KrisFlyer miles, adjusting the plan was a smooth saver. Just as we were processing the change of plans, nature delivered the ultimate plot twist: Jakarta airport was temporarily closed due to a sudden volcano eruption. Had we stuck to our original departure date, we would have been caught right in the middle of airport chaos and flight can...

Small Ripples, Big Waves

Tuesday, 09 September 2025 I’ll be honest with you. The past few days I’ve been doubting my decision to write long reflections and publish them only here on the blog. A part of me kept asking: does it even matter? Does anyone get something from it? Am I being selfish, writing just for myself instead of sharing with the 24,000 followers I still have on Instagram? Wouldn’t it be better to show up there, where the attention is, where the “numbers” live? These questions have been running circles in my head like kids after too much sugar. But then... life has a funny way of answering doubts at the exact moment you need it. Last weekend, my youngest daughter casually told me a story. “Mom, remember Vibi? My friend who’s a Sunday school teacher?” “Yeah, why?” “She said reading your blog really helped her during her recovery after her appendectomy.” I blinked. “Wait, she reads my blog?” “Yes. I didn’t even know she did.” “How did she find it?” “No idea. Maybe she follows you on Instagram.” And...

A Fulfilling Sunday: Gentle Wake-Up Call

My Sunday started with my usual weekly routine: hopping on the train and heading to church. I always enjoy this little commute; it gives me time to settle my mind before the service. Today, Ps. Alvi preached a message titled "Lord, Open My Eyes," and honestly, it felt like a gentle (but much-needed) slap in the face. It was week 5 of a series on navigating crisis, and the focus was on how crises can affect our relationship with God. He brought up the story of the two disciples on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24). They were walking right next to Jesus, but their grief and disappointment blinded them from recognizing Him. Here are a few takeaways from my notes that really struck a chord with me: Disappointment blinds us. When things don’t go our way, disappointment can make us view reality through the wrong lens. Ps. Alvi said something so profound: "Being hurt is an event, but being disappointed is a decision." Disappointment's closest cousin is suspicion. Feeling...
