#Startuplokal Meetup July 2016 with Reno Rafly

Happy to have the founder of Catalyst Global Consulting Reno Rafly coming from NYC to share about Team Building at #Startuplokal Meetup v.63 on Thursday, 21 July 2016 6-9pm at Jakdiva Menara Multimedia Telkom Kebon Sirih Jakarta.

More than 200 people came to StartupLokal meetup that night. Not only from Jabodetabek, we also have guests from Swedia, Austria, and a backpacker couple from Saudi Arabia! The discussion went lively and we got good insights from Reno about human capital, HR and team building issues.

I think Reno is an amazing woman. While leading a business that spread in several countries, she nurtures 3 children without maid (the youngest is 1,5 years old), and even traveling without assistance with all of them from New York to Jakarta.

When I asked her how she managed all of that, she said: “I don’t know, I just did!” :))

PS: From Facebook I found out that Reno is a sister of my friend Brata Rafly 😀 Well as President Obama said, the world is shrink, indeed.

#Startuplokal Meetup v57 tonight was about Marketing to Middle Class Muslim, with speakers Riel Tasmaya CEO Muslimarket Indonesia, Falah Fakhriyah VP Hijabenka.com, and Andreas Senjaya co-founder Badr Interactive.

The panel discussion went alive & hillarious thanks to our moderator Natali Ardianto of Tiket.com 😂 It’s funny because from 3 StartupLokal initiators (Natali, myself, and Aulia Halimatussadiah), only Ollie is moslem but she chose to do opening part instead of being the moderator 😅

The discussion went from marketing strategies, do’s and dont’s, insider’s insights, effectiveness of promotion via social media, omzet, tips on how to find cofounder, and many more, for more than an hour.

Watch the recordings of some last parts of the meetup in my periscope https://www.periscope.tv/nuniek?%3Ausername=nuniek&

Hope to see you on the next #Startuplokal Meetup!

Happy to have Joel Gascoigne the CEO & CoFounder of Buffer App from Silicon Valley visiting Tiket.com and sharing at the 50th #Startuplokal Meetup in Jakarta Digital Valley tonight ^.^

Feel honored that I had the opportunity to present about #Startuplokal and Indonesia startup scene in general, in front of 45 Google managers from all around the world that came to visit Project Eden.

And to my surprise, Marissa Mayer was also with them. Had nice chit chat with her about life being a career woman and also support from husband, while I was having my lunch.

UPDATED:

That was just a couple of months before she left Google for being Yahoo CEO. And just later I found out that she was 4 months pregnant. I feel bad to let her went up and down through emergency stairs!
