When I reviewed last year’s resolutions, I’m happy that it’s pretty much achieved. One of the biggest was I finally get braces for my teeth, after considering it for 7 years! :D Well, I kept the rest simple thou.
Now, what are my 2012 resolutions?
On Fimela Raker (annual meeting) mid of December, our CEO Ben played a video about several guys pursue things they wanna do before die. The question keep playing in my mind:
“What are the things you wanna do before you die?”
The first thing came across my mind was: travelling to places I’ve never been to, as much as I could. Why? All my life, I’ve only visited major cities like Yogyakarta, Bangka, Palembang, Bengkulu, Bandung, Solo, Semarang, Bali, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney, Melbourne.
See, there are million of cities in the world but only less than 20 of them I ever visited. I definitely need to travel a lot more! And that, instantly becomes my 1st resolution for 2012. If life is a journey, then let the journey be part of our lives.
Another resolution is laser for my cylinder eyes. Considering that travelling needs lots of money, I dont know if I can do lasik in 2012 but if I could, it would be great.
What else?
In 2012 Michelle is going to enter elementary school, though we can say she’s still under age for that (not 6 years old yet). I was thinking to homeschooling her for a year, move to an apartment, and travel more. But as I guessed, the idea was out of question for my hubby and parents. So yeah, let’s just leave it to be merely an idea without execution =(
I guess that’s all I can think of so far. I’m writing this in the middle of potluck party for Shirley’s birthday in Sudirman Park, and year 2012 will come in less than 30 minutes. Happy new year, all!
